Employment law governs the relationship between employer and employee and covers a broad range of issues, policies and laws. Employment laws protect employees from mistreatment by their employers, dictate the rules and regulations that employers must follow when hiring and firing employees, as well as workplace safety, discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful dismissal and whistleblowing.
Diane has extensive experience in employment law, working both from employee’s and the employer’s side of the table. She believes that employment law means simply fairness in the worklplace.
